Tampa Video Studio Holds Open Casting Call for New Film

Litewave Media (www.litewavemedia.com), an award-winning film production studio in Tampa Bay is looking to expand our talent pool. Our films have recently screened in Los Angeles (Filmapalooza), New York City (Gotham International) and locally at the Gasparilla and Sunscreen Film Festivals.

We have worked with some great actors and actresses over our ten years in the area. We are now searching for some fresh faces for our upcoming projects including a steampunk/fantasy film called The Skyship Chronicles (www.skyshipchronicles.com), music videos, a reality TV show, and various commercial video projects. We are looking for actors/actresses of all ages and types, and specifically looking for a leading actor and actress (age 20-35).

Casting is on April 25, from noon to 7pm at Tampa video production studio, Litewave Studios. Send a recent headshot or picture as well as links to video samples or reels (if available). This is an open casting, but RSVPs will be given priority.

Florida Production Company Opens New Tampa Video Studio

Leading Tampa video production company, Litewave Media, has expanded once again! We’re excited to announce the opening of Litewave Studios, a full-service, 3200 square foot video studio and sound stage that provides everything needed for high-quality video and photography production.

The new studio is equipped with a 1600 square-foot cyc (pronounced “psych), which is a curved, all-white studio space with no seams. Shooting or filming on the cyc creates the illusion of unlimited space and provides a clean background for myriad set design and lighting possibilities.

Our St. Petersburg video studio is also equipped with a green screen studio and green screen cyc rental, enabling both Tampa photographers and film makers to replace and enhance backgrounds. Green screen keying techniques have become very popular in modern film production, and are probably most recognizable on your local news, particularly for the weather report.

In addition to the white cyc and green screen, Litewave Studios has a diverse equipment arsenal available for rent. For video production, we have lighting rental packages and camera packages for every budget. Our camera packages include the RED Scarlet, Panasonic HPX-170, the Canon 5D Mark III and many more. Photographers will find a range of camera and lens rentals, including both Canon “L” and Nikon lenses. If you have your own equipment and just need the Tampa video studio rental, we offer competitive packages for studio rental as well.

Litewave Studios also offers video post production and editing on-site. In our video editing suites, you’ll find both motion graphics artists and color correction gurus. We’re equipped with Final Cut Studio and the latest Adobe Creative Suite with Premiere. For voice over and sound looping, we have a sound isolation booth, which is also used for music production and narrations on-site.

Other amenities include a private make-up room, meeting space, a prop room, a loading dock that unloads directly into the studio, and plenty of free parking.
